Maine Indoor Karting and the Alzheimer’s Association, Maine chapter are excited to announce that they will be teaming up to attempt to break a World Record! On May 5th through May 6th, track manager Ryan Dyer will be taking to the track to attempt to break the World Record for the most miles completed on an indoor race track in 24 hours! This attempt will act as a fundraising event for the Alzheimer’s Association, Maine chapter.
On the decision to use this attempt as a fundraising opportunity for the Alzheimer’s Association, Maine Chapter, Maine Indoor Karting Track Manager Ryan Dyer had this to say, “After making the decision to try and break the record, we decided that it would be a great opportunity to use this attempt as a way to raise funds and build awareness for a great cause. After learning that multiple people within our company have had some sort of personal connection to the Alzheimer’s disease, it just seemed like to be the natural choice for an organization to support.”
Maine Indoor Karting plans to donate 100% of the proceeds to the Alzheimer’s Association.
The track will be open to the public May 5th from 1pm to 9pm and May 6th 8am to 1pm. Maine Indoor Karting would like to invite the public to come and cheer Ryan on during his attempt, and also to meet with representatives from the Alzheimer’s Association, Maine chapter to learn more about their efforts and their cause!
