The first event of the Super Late Model Triple Crown Challenge Series takes to Wisconsin’s Fastest Half-Mile this Friday night (May 30th).  The winner of the 100 lap feature will receive $4000 while the runner-up takes home $2000. The race will pay $450 to start. The overall champion of the three race series will also receive $5000 at the annual MIS banquet in November.

“We want to see a great field of cars in our Triple Crown Challenge at Madison,” said MIS owner Terry Kunes.  “We’ve upped the purse this year because we want people to know that we are committed to super late model racing.”

A very competitive field of cars from throughout the region is expected to be at Madison on Friday night.  “We’ve already received inquires from several states so we’re anticipating a very solid field,” added Kunes.

Defending champion of the Super Late Model Triple Crown Challenge Series is Casey Johnson of Stoughton, Wisconsin.

Pit gates for this Friday’s race open at 3:30 with practice at 4:45, qualifying at 6:00 and racing at 7:30.  The Dave’s White Rock Sportsman and Roto Rooter Bandits will also be in action.

Adult admission is $15.00 with Seniors 60+ and Students 12-17 at $13.00 and children eleven and under free.
