For the second consecutive season Dean's Satellite of Sparta, Wis. will lend support to the TUNDRA Super Late Model Series.  Dean's will once again sponsor the Rookie of the Year and Most Improved Driver programs.

"We are excited to a part of the TUNDRA Super Late Models for the second straight year," said Dean Pennel, owner of Dean's Satellite.  "Racing has been a part of our family and business for the past 20+ years and we look forward to a continued partnership for years to come."

Last season Paige Decker took the cash prize for being the top rookie by a slim margin over Matt Pyburn.  The Rookie of the Year battle also featured Claire Decker, Jordan Ives, Chris Brooks and Jordan Thiel.

The Most Improved Driver was TUNDRA Iron Man Mike Egan who jumped from tenth in 2012 standings to fourth this past season.  He was also awarded a cash bonus at the banquet in January.

This season rookie drivers will be well-recognizable with a yellow "Dean's Satellite" stripe across the back bumper of their machines.  The potential class of 2014 rookies looks to be just as stout as last season.  Former Late Model Champions Tom Gee Jr. and Rich Schumann Jr. and past Late Model standouts Mike Lichtfeld, Dan Church, Ryan Farrell, Regan May and Shawn Majkrzak are among the early entrants into the program.

Dean's plans on having booths set up with information on DIRECTV and other products on various stops of the 2014 TUNDRA Super Late Models schedule.

The first event for the 2014 Dean's Satellite Rookie class is scheduled for Saturday, May 10 in TUNDRA Round One "Powered by Wisconsin Potatoes" at Wisconsin International Raceway just outside of Kaukauna, Wis.

Serving LaCrosse, Sparta, Madison, Rochester, Winona, Wausau and everywhere in between, Dean's Satellite offers the two leading brands of Satellite Television. Dean's is a local Authorized DIRECTV and DISH retailer and also a provider of Exede Satellite Internet. In 2011 Dean's branched out to include Dean's Security Services specializing in security and surveillance for residential and commercial. For more information visit www.deansdish.com.
