Parents have been telling children to eat their vegetables to grow big and strong for generations.  To continue to get bigger and stronger the TUNDRA Super Late Model Series will turn to those who produce those delicious and nutritious snacks.

The fastest growing super late model series in the Midwest has formed a partnership with the Wisconsin Potato and Vegetables Growers Association for the 2014 season.  Drivers and teams can expect a carbo-loaded race day as each event will be "Powered by Wisconsin Potatoes.

"We're extremely excited to welcome the WPVGA to the TUNDRA family," said TUNDRA representative Matt Panure.  "Being Wisconsin-based ourselves, and traveling to the heartland of potato and vegetable growing country, we feel like this is a partnership that will be a huge benefit to everyone."

The Wisconsin Potato and Vegetable Growers Association in was established 1948 with headquarters in Antigo, Wis. Ranked third in the nation for potato production, and number one east of the Mississippi, the WPBGA's 140 growers work together to provide the best Wisconsin potatoes and vegetables for consumers.

"The Wisconsin Potato & Vegetable Growers Association is excited to be partnering with TUNDRA Super Late Models in 2014," said Chris Brooks, former TUNDRA driver and WPVGA Associate Board Vice President and Promotions Committee Member.  "It gives us the opportunity to showcase Home Grown Wisconsin Potatoes to the loyal race fans of Wisconsin and surrounding states."

"It's also an opportunity to work with Tundra on their platform for the much anticipated launch of the Wisconsin Spudmobile. Our 'Powered by Potatoes' moto will mean more than ever this year," he concluded.

The first "Powered by Wisconsin Potatoes" event for TUNDRA is scheduled for Saturday, May 10 at Wisconsin International Raceway just outside of Kaukauna, Wis.  The event is scheduled for a 2 p.m. start time.

The Unified Northern Drivers Racing Association (TUNDRA) Super Late Model Series was formed in 2011 as the Alive For Five Super Late Model Series at Dells Raceway Park. TUNDRA's business plan is based on a sustainable program for promoters and race teams alike, while still providing high-quality Super Late Model entertainment to fans.
