Speed51.com's Maxima Racing Oils Dominator
The Driver Who Dominated the Weekend in Short Track Racing
Winning a season-opening race is a sign of skill, luck and some solid preparation in the race shop during the off-season. Winning a series' first two races of the year is rare and even further proves a driver and team's domination. Getting both of those wins in a three-day span is almost unbelievable.
Believe it. Daniel Suarez does. Suarez opened the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East season with a thrilling victory in the opening race on Sunday, February 16 at Florida's New Smyrna Speedway. Suarez held off Cameron Hayley in a paint-swapping duel to the finish for the victory there.
Then, two days later at the UNOH Battle at the Beach at Daytona International Speedway, Suarez was the class of the field once again, scoring the win in a dominant effort. The 22-year-old driver from Mexico led the final 119 of 150 laps.
For his accomplishments over the weekend at New Smyrna and Daytona, Daniel Suarez is this week's Maxima Racing Oils Dominator. Suarez will receive a product certificate from Maxima Racing Oils.
